The industry first “Pro DJ Link” allows you to share the music and files from a single USB source accross up to a maximum of 4 units. This is done with CAT-5 LAN (Local area network) cables to enable the USB sockets to be saved for multiple USB devices to be connected to the unit.

Michael Sheen - Actor

Finally, a film star that openly admits that they like karaoke!

Michael Sheen, star of the recent movie Damned United has confessed that he is an avid fan of Karaoke and he even has his very own play list.

Sheen said: “I have a threesome I perform throughout the night. There’s ‘Sweet Caroline’, then Foo Fighters’ ‘Learning To Fly’ somewhere in the middle and then ‘Sweet Transvestite’ from the ‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’ to end. It is a strange trio, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else, but it works for me.”

There is one track that definately isn’t on Sheen’s playlist however. Sheen explains: “I made a really horrific attempt at ‘Livin’ On A Prayer’ by Bon Jovi and am still suffering the effects. It was far too high. Never again!”

Sheen’s new film “The Damned United” is released on 27th March 2009.

Derived from the Sennheiser HD25-SP these are one of world’s most used and well known DJ headphone, these are the one and only Sennheiser HD25 advanced DJ headphones.

The original Sennheiser HD25-SP headphones were alegedly a fee gift on many British Airways trans-atlantic flights. They were selected by BA as they were flexible but very sturdy, a very uncommon feature of headphones at the time.

What makes these headphones extra special is their absolute flexibility and every part being user replacable. The pair have a dual head-band, that enables absolute comfort with a single trailing lead that is extremely durable and easily replacable.

The headphone “cups” both easily slide off the headband and the foam ear protectors are also, you guessed it, easily replacable.

The fact that every part of these headphones are use replacable is not the only selling point, they sound fantastic! Unlike some competing brands, the Sennheiser HD25’s have great, high quality sound and with their closed-back design, they drown out all surrounding noise. This enables the DJ to cue up the next track with ease.

So in short a great modular design with great sound quality. 5/5 for the Sennheiser HD25 Headphones.

Being a devout fan of Vocopro, when I got wind of this new player this morning, I couldn’t resist writing a quick description of it.

This is the Vocopro DVG-770K MK2 karaoke player. This player is absolutely unique as you can play tracks from any one of many media types including USB, SD (Secure Digital Memory Card), Mini SD and then all of your standard formats including CD+G, DVD, MP3+G.

Okay so here is the QTX Light LS-01 Green & Red DJ Laser. QTX Light are a brand distributed in the UK by Skytronic, who own Citronic & Adastra.

So let’s get straight on to the product features. The QTX LS01 Laser features two laser diodes, a red one and a green one. The red diode is 40mW and the green diode is 80mW. These two colours, together, look amazing!
